News Source:

The animal skin market of the sacrifice has fallen. The same situation around the country. The cow’s of 1 lakh taka skin was not sold even at Tk.1000. But three-four years ago, The cow’s of 50 thousand taka skin was bought from 2 to 3 thousand taka.

Before the Eid Eid, the government decided to lower the price of leather compared to the previous government. But after the sacrifice, it has happened that it did not stay that way. That is, the purchase of the animal skin of the sacrifice has decreased more than the government-fixed rate. This information was found by talking to the leaders of the Leather and Retail Traders and Charity Samity leaders.

Centrally on Eid, millions of seasonal traders in the country went to the leather business. Thousands of wholesale traders bought leather from them and stored them. Monsoon traders bought leather at low prices from different para-mahallas this Eid.

Later, they bought them from low prices and wholesale traders and shopkeepers took them. Leather goods were found in low-cost wholesale leather in the capital of Lalbagh and Aminbazar on the day of Eid and the following day. However, the price has increased slightly since Friday.

The government-bound price is 45 to 50 taka per square fit of cows skin in Dhaka and 35 to 40 taka outside Dhaka. Apart from this, Khasir(Goat) skin is available at Tk 18 to Tk 20 per square fit and Bakri skin will cost 13 to 15 taka per square fit.

In reality, the skin was sold at a lower price than the date of the sacrifice and the next day. Seasonal traders bought leather at an average of 500 to 600 taka. And outside of Dhaka, the market has been trading at an average of 400 to 500 taka. However, after giving salt, every 20 to 35 sqft skin of the cows will be purchased from Taka 1,000 to Tk. 750.

President of Hyde and Skin Merchants Association Delwar Hossain, the leather shrewd organization, tannery owners are deteriorating due to lowering prices of skin. On Friday, he said in the first light, “Tannery owners are less interested in buying leather. We have not paid our last money yet. As a result, we could not repay the money.

Tanner owners association, Bangladesh Tanners Association president Shaheen Ahmed, however, said in the first light, “Like every year, shopkeepers doing picketing to deceive seasonal traders. For a few days, they will get the proper price if the skin is preserved. Prices are rising since yesterday. Do not rush to sell at low prices. ‘ She also mentioned the price of leather products in the world market.

Shahin Ahmed accepted the allegation of the organization of the organizers of the organization, Delwar Hossain. Again, he said that all the factories from Hazaribagh to Savar did not receive loans. This is also a problem. ‘

According to the Tanners Association, more than 22 million square feet of skin is available from all over the country in a year. Among them, 64 percent 83 percent of cow skin, 31.82 percent goat, 2.5 percent of buffalo and 1.2 percent sheepskin. But more than half of the year’s total gross state of the Eid is in the time of Eid.

In fact, almost all factories of Shantinagar factory in Savar were closed yesterday. Some factories have been seen to preserve the saline skin. Talking to the workers, it is known that in many factories, cattle are preserved on Eid day and on the day after Eid.

Emraan Hossain, a worker of Miraj Leather, said that the day of Eid was preserved in Hazaribagh by buying leather. From there, the skin was brought to Savar factory.

However, there is a problem of labor crisis in Savar leather industrial town. The workers do not want to work here due to various problems. Because of this, the owners of many factories could not save livestock skin in Savar factory on Eid day and Eid the next day.

The skin has been stored in different places, including Hazaribagh with salt. In a week it will be brought to Savar. Later these skin will be processed.
